Majima Studio is the creative project led by Marina Jiménez, an independent designer, and art director based in Barcelona. Despite her youth, she has forged an outstanding career collaborating with renowned brands in the perfumery and fashion sectors, discovering her passion for visual communication, especially in the luxury realm.

Exceptional aesthetic sensitivity and a constant interest in visual arts are the pillars that make Majima Studio advocate for the power of aesthetics to bestow identity and value on brands. We offer design and art direction services, focusing on the creation of aesthetic strategies that enhance the growth of each project.

WORK EXPRIENCE

2021 — Nowadays: Freelance designer & Art director.

2021 — 2022: Art director in Visionario Shop. (Barcelona).
Responsible for the communication and design of Visionario and Reflect Shades.
I was in charge of directing the entire creative process and production of elements such as packaging, the annual campaign for each brand, graphic elements for point of sale, promotional elements, internal presentations, and providing support to the product team.
In addition, I managed teams on a daily basis (student interns) and larger teams at specific times (campaign production team).

2017 — 2021: Design and art direction in Aktiva Brand Experience Design. (Barcelona)
Desing all kind of products for perfume’s world (bottles, POS, merchandising…) and graphic content (visuals, renders…). Participating in projects like the new design bottle for Wood Desquared2 or making the art direction for the new digital campaign of Calvin Klein Women fragance. Manager and project coordinator for the brand Guerlain perfumes of the LVMH group in Aktiva.

2017 (Internships): Graphic Designer and art director in Oro Vivo Jewelry. (Barcelona)
